Carver RDA Moves Toward Fall Town Meeting Vote on Green Business Park Zoning Change

The board also heard that Carver's $80,000 economic development grant, awarded under a cover letter from Governor Maura Healey dated October 10, 2024, contains a clause voiding the contract if the town falls out of MBTA Section 3A zoning compliance, a status that lapses December 31, 2025 unless a zoning bylaw passes at the proposed September town meeting. The board voted unanimously to accept the June 30 treasurer's report, showing an RDA account balance of $48,453.37, and set its next meeting for August 12 at 6:30 p.m.
