Carver Planning Board Continues Ricketts Pond Industrial Permit Hearing to October 28

CARVER — October 14, 2025 — Carver Planning Board continues Ricketts Pond industrial building hearing with no testimony taken. The board voted unanimously at its October 14 meeting to push the public hearing for 3 Ricketts Pond Drive, LLC to October 28, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall after the applicant requested more time and sent no representative to the session. The application, filed under Carver Zoning Bylaw Articles 5-3 and 3-1, seeks a special permit and site plan review for a second light industrial building in the Spring Street Innovation Zoning District. Board Chair recused himself from the vote, turning the proceeding over to the Vice Chair. One member flagged a November 18 election on Old Colony Regional Technical School funding, estimating the average Carver household's share at roughly $370 to $380, and expressed hope the town's school building fund would absorb the cost rather than individual taxpayers.
