Carver Cranberry Baseball League has added a new wave of fall games, with several matchups returning to Carver Fields through mid-October.
CARVER -- The Carver Cranberry Baseball League, also known as Bog Town Little League, has posted an extended slate of fall matchups on its schedule, with many of the games set for the town's own diamonds.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- Baseball: According to the league's website, Carver Fields will host several games over the next two weeks. On Oct. 5, Plymouth 3 visits Minor/Major Blue at 5:30 p.m. on the Majors (lights) field. On Oct. 7, Carver Fields is scheduled to host three games: Wareham 2 at Minor/Major Grey (5 p.m., Rookie/Minor field) and Plymouth 1 at Minor/Major Maroon (5:30 p.m., Majors lights), while Minor/Major Blue travels to Plympton's Holt Field and Halifax visits Plymouth 2 at Stephens Field. On Oct. 10, Carver Fields' Rookie/Minor field hosts an all-Carver morning slate: TBall Maroon versus TBall Blue at 9 a.m., followed by Rookie Maroon versus Rookie Blue at 10:30 a.m. The schedule continues Oct. 14, with Plymouth 1 at Minor/Major Blue back on the Majors lights field at 5:30 p.m., while Plymouth 2 plays at Plympton's Holt Field the same evening. The league describes itself as serving players from Pre-K through sixth grade and says it is fully volunteer-run, welcoming anyone interested in getting involved through its Dibs page.
